My name is Jim Sparks, and I am a semi-retired Baptist minister in Western Australia, currently serving as "Preacher and Pastoral Advisor" at the Chidlow Community Church.
I have had the opportunity to pastor four different churches over the past forty years, and one of the things I love the most about church ministry is studying the Bible to understand what it says and what it means for our lives and then sharing that understanding with others. That is what I hope to continue to do on this website.
I have a Doctor of Philosophy in Theology degree from Murdoch University and did much of my earlier study at the Baptist Theological College of Western Australia, which is now part of Morling College. You can find my own, personal, statement of faith here.
If you have any questions about the Bible, please feel free to ask, and I will try my best to answer your question, so that you may also better understand the Bible and what its teaching means for your life.
